Tom Sitter entered the insurance business in 1980 with American Family Insurance. He then joined Duffy Meyer Insurance in 1983. In 1990, he started with The Sullivan Agency in downtown Oshkosh. Tom, along with Nancy Judkins and Sue Yell, purchased The Sullivan Agency in 1996 and merged with Richards Insurance 2 years later. After the 1998 purchase, the Oshkosh office continued to grow by purchasing Guy Burr Insurance, The Kornder Agency and Pppler-Ellis Insurance. In 2015, Tom acquired Richards Benefits & Financial Services from Steve Foerster.
Tom is a Fox Valley Technical College graduate. He is a member of the Oshkosh Boat Club and served as Commodore in 2004 and again in 2016. His winter hobby is skiing. He is a member of the Sly Fox and Gelandesprung Ski Club and does numerous downhill ski trips. Tom has two grown children, Bill and Jane.
